In this episode we discussed the importance of developing mission statements, the different aspects of your life you can develop missions statements for, and set out of framework to begin to develop your professional mission statement.

As promised, here are the three questions to use to begin to start conceptualizing your professional mission statement.

What do I value?

What do I seek to offer?

How do I offer it?

During the episode, Amy shared her professional mission statement and how she utilized these questions to originate it. These questions represent the pillars of her mission statement. They are also easily accessible for any professional seeking to develop their own mission statement.

We also discussed personal and family mission statements. These can be a great way to take stock of what is important to you and have something more tangible to rely upon when life inevitable throws a hard decision your way. They are also not set in stone. As your life evolves and changes, your mission statement may change as well.
