Bonus Episode: Haley’s Solo

Hi All,

This week we wanted to bring you a special bonus episode as summer is coming to a close. This episode is in honor of our most popular episode - Episode 3 Who Has Time for Hobbies. In that episode we discussed some of our favorite hobbies and why having a hobby is important.

This week, Haley takes over the microphone to discuss a personal hobby that means a lot to her - dance.

She shares her background growing up in dance and how her path lead her back to the studio she danced in as a young girl. Overcoming the fear of stepping back into the studio after 15 years was - SCARY! But completely worth it!

You may be thinking - how does she actually have time to do this? Haley was able to make this once a week commitment work within her family and schedule and it really became a major priority in her life fairly quickly.

One important aspect to this that is addressed in the episode is the importance of the hobby activity and time being YOUR time.

Digging deep into the importance of this hobby for Haley revealed the most important thing for her - the community of this specific group of women. This is not just about moving her body once per week. It is the support of being with women who you know care about each other and can laugh, cry, vent, and lean on each other.

In many ways this episode is a love letter from Haley to this special group. But we also hope that it inspires you to look at what matters to you and find time for yourself in a way that is meaningful and fulfilling.

We would love to hear about your special hobbies or things you do just for yourself! You can reach us via email info@lawyerswholaunch.com or on Instagram @lawyerswholaunch.

Have a great day!
